Expo Success!
TWA’s North Hants Expo proved a huge success, with hundreds of visitors, a fantastic attendance at all seminars and networking sessions, and plenty of new business leads generated for the event’s exhibitors.
Taking place at The Anvil on 8th February, the show’s futuristic theme focused upon social media, apps, and a fascinating talk by Europe’s leading futurist Ray Hammond. As we think ahead to a time when our phones are injected into our ears and we carry around a copy of our decoded genome wherever we go, businesspeople at the Expo were advised by specialists to focus their energies on the likes of LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, if they wish to succeed in the years to come.
In addition to a programme packed with seminars and talks, the fifty-five exhibiting companies were kept busy with a strong attendance of fellow business representatives from around North Hampshire.
Ed Bodiam, Chairman of Andover Committee and CEO of IT outsourcing company Future Reliance said on the day:
“We’ve had a lot of people come to see us at our stand, and so far we’ve generated several promising leads. Leading a panel of specialists discussing ‘the cloud’ also gave us an opportunity to explain to prospective customers why what we’re offering can help their business to grow. Events such as this serve as a great mouthpiece for our message, as well as an indication of how other businesses are doing in the area.”
